LEGAL NOTICE

Request for Qualifications

The Board of Clermont County Commissioners is establishing a prequalification list as authorized by Ohio Revised Code Section 153.68 for as-needed architectural, MEP, and structural professional design services aimed at creating, reviewing, and approving the appropriate documents for submittal for building code compliance as it relates to remodeling and/or construction of offices, buildings, structures and/or other appurtenances including space planning, HVAC, lighting, and landscaping. Potential projects may take place in 2025 and part of 2026. All Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) must be received in the office of the Board of Clermont County Commissioners, no later than 2:00 PM EST on THURSDAY, July 31, 2025, at 2:00 PM, at which time all SOQs shall be opened and acknowledged. SOQs should be submitted in a sealed envelope marked: RFQ FOR AS NEEDED SERVICES and should include one (1) original and two (2) copies, as well as one (1) searchable copy on a USB drive.

The Board of County Commissioners will use this file to select qualified firms for services required for County projects if the estimated fee is less than $50,000 as permitted under ORC 153.71.

Submitted Statements of Qualifications shall include:

1. Information about the firm’s history;
2. Education, technical training, and experience of owners and key personnel who would be assigned to perform the required professional design services;
3. Ability of the firm in terms of its workload and the availability of qualified personnel, equipment, and facilities to perform the required professional design services competently and expeditiously;
4. Past performance of the firm on other projects related to general office remodeling, HVAC replacement, space planning and/or landscape, including information on no fewer than three projects completed by the firm in this field in the last five years. This information shall include the project name, cost, location, project deadline, date completed, and project reference contact;
5. The firm’s experience with Clermont County Government projects, if any.

The format of the SOQs must be as outlined above. Narrative pages are to be 8-1/2 inches by 11 inches, with a maximum page limit of 15 single-sided pages. Advertising or sales-based literature, information, or data is NOT ACCEPTABLE as a representation of statements of qualifications. Any submitted SOQs that do not comply with these requirements will be rejected.
