This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
The Medical Readiness Contracting Office - West (MRCO-W), JBSA Fort Sam Houston, TX is requesting information and conducting market research to identify sources capable of providing two (2) Blood Parameter Monitoring Systems to be used during cardiopulmonary bypass surgeries at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), JBSA Fort Sam Houston, TX. The blood parameter monitoring system provides the continuous information needed to reduce the risk of acute kidney injury, improve patient outcomes and save hospital costs. (see Attachment 1 for salient characteristics).
MRCO-W is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as part of market research to determine if there is an adequate number of qualified, interested contractors that are capable of satisfying the requirement, and whether a small business set-aside is appropriate. The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought for information and planning purposes.
This Sources Sought is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of MRCO-W's market research. No Request for Quote (RFQ) exists at this time. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice are NOT quotes on which MRCO-W can issue any contract. This Sources Sought is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not itself constitute an RFQ.
All information received in response to this Sources Sought marked "Proprietary" will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response.
Responses to the Sources Sought Notice will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought. MRCO-W will not pay for information received in response to this Sources Sought. Do not submit pricing information in response to this Sources Sought.
Interested sources should submit a response to cathy.l.harris2.civ@health.mil and include the following information:
1) Organization's name, CAGE code, address, point of contact, phone number, e-mail address. Please advise if the requirement can be met through a contract vehicle the source already has (i.e GSA schedule number if applicable).
2) Confirm the Offeror’s ability to provide two (2) Blood Parameter Monitoring Systems including confirmation that the vendor's product fully satisfies the requirements outlined in Attachment 1.
