1. Contract Title.
Blood Culture media and automated microbial detection system FY26 purchase order for Microbiology blood stream and sterile body fluid infection testing.
2. Background.
Purchase orders are requested to order specific products throughout the year necessary to perform microbiology blood stream infection testing.
3. Scope.
This platform, and its associated reagents, are used for the automated recovery of organisms in the blood stream or body fluids at PSHCS on veteran s direct patient samples. This contract is for reagents as part of a cost per instrument rental agreement (CPRR). The equipment was installed during the last five-year contract cycle. Reagents are delivered upon request through the PSHCS Seattle Warehouse. These products are mandatory for determining what potential pathogens are causing sepsis, blood stream infections, catheter associated blood stream infections and pathogens found in body fluids.
