The Village of New Denver invites tenders for the construction of sidewalk along the 700 Block of Kootenay Street.  The project will also include new curb/gutter/sidewalk at the Kootenay Street intersection with 6 th Avenue (Highway 31A). A summary of specific work items includes the following (approx. quantities):
  • Installation of approximately 330 sqm of concrete sidewalk and 55m of concrete curb with gutter.
  • Construction of a 25m long (approximate) by 1m tall (maximum) cast-in-place reinforced concrete landscaping wall.
  • Installation of 3 catchbasins and 1 storm drywell.
  • Surface restorations including boulevard grading and road reconstruction (including asphalt paving).
  • Installation of traffic signs and paint markings.

    Tenderers are encouraged to attend an optional informational meeting scheduled for Tuesday April 29th, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at the project site.
