Scope of Services
The intent of this bid is to secure firm fixed pricing to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and supplies as required to remove and replace the current indoor bleacher system at Kissimmee Middle School. The performance of awarded Bidders shall be in accordance with the terms of the specifications and at the quality standards of service set forth herein.
To include but not limited to:
A. DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL
1. Tear out existing Hussey seating bleachers and properly disposing of demolished materials off site in compliance will all federal, state, and local order and shall meet or exceed any existing standards; see Attachment H
2. Awarded bidder is responsible for preventing damage to existing structures, gym flooring and surrounding areas.
B. NEW BLEACHER INSTALLATION
1. Award bidder shall provide and install a new bleacher in compliance with all federal, state, and local order included but not limited to International Building Code, ICC 300 and ADA, and shall meet or exceed the following minimum specifications:
• Net Seats: 542 approximately.
• Seat Type: Manufacturer’s Standard polymer option.
• Seat Color: Black but open to consider other colors if available at the same price.
• Row Rise: 9 5/8” or customized to meet location space.
• Row Spacing: 24”.
• Tiers: 13 or customized to meet location space.
• Bank Length: 75’ approximately without end rails. Bidder must confirm or propose alternative.
• To include row letters and seat numbers.
• Operation: Electric with pensant control.
• Power Supply: Single-phase, 60Hz, 120V.
• Limit Switches for synthetic floor operation.
• End Rails & Aisle Rails: Self storing BH end rails. Aisle will feature automatic rotating rails. 983 Black color finish.
• Decks: Plywood with a clear finish only on the top side.
• Intermediate Steps.
• Flex Row – Fully ADA Compliant including hinged front aisle steps.
• Brand and Model: Acceptable bleacher brand and model manufacturer must have a minimum 25 years of experience in manufacturing telecopy seating and current I.S.O 9001:2015 certification. Bidders must provide Manufacturer Data Sheet and or Technical Data Sheet (TDS) of model bidding and provide documentation of certified installer.

• Awarded bidder must provide training and operating manuals upon completion.
2. BID ALTERNATE - ADD
• Incorporate a custom school logo – It is the preference of the School District to incorporate the custom logo as shown in Attachment I, situated in the two central sections of the bleachers. However, in case of budget limitations, we have proposed a second option consisting of the letters “KMMS”, with the following requirements:
a) Bay Allocation and Widths (Approximate):
Bay 1 (K): 9′–6″
Bay 2 (M): 9′–6”
Bay 3 (M): 9′–6”
Bay 4 (S): 9′–6”
b) Letter Specifications:
Each letter must be proportionally scaled to fit within its designated bay. Maintain consistent left/right margins within each bay. Letter height shall be sized to fill the available riser height (vendor to confirm and field-verify).
c) Color: Vibrant teal. Must match the school logo.
d) Finish: glossy sheen to improve visibility and create a contrast against bleacher backdrop.
e) Font Style: same as word Jaguars in Attachment I, but open to other fonts at the same price.
f) The full logo or lettering shall span approximately 36–40 feet across the bleacher face (vendor to field-verify exact dimensions).
g) Logo or lettering must be securely affixed and aligned across all four bays.
h) Vendor shall coordinate with site conditions and bleacher layout to ensure proper integration.
• The logo depicted in Attachment I shall utilize materials, dimensions, and overall lettering span consistent with the specifications previously outlined for the alternate “KMMS” option, but it will get adjusted to match Attachment I.
C. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
• Any onsite welding must be performed by AWS-certified welder to AWS D1.1 Standards.
• All electrical connections must be made by a licensed Florida electrician.
• Upon award, the selected bidder shall provide all necessary detailed drawings, technical specifications, and any supplemental documentation required for submission to the School District’s in-house Building Department. These materials will be reviewed as part of the permitting process. Following approval, a permit will be issued to the awarded bidder, authorizing the commencement of installation activities. No installation work may begin prior to permit issuance.
