Project Description: In 2020, Louisville Metro Government announced the Equity in Procurement Task Force with the specific goal of increasing the number of Black and Minority-owned businesses in the city. This initiative will create or leverage a workforce development program to provide the necessary training directly to the businesses and entrepreneurs to help build capacity for Black and minority-owned businesses. Particularly of interest are business enterprises in the capital/construction project delivery industry.
