Bituminous Trail Repair & Replacement

The City of Bowie, Maryland requests bids from experienced and qualified contractors to repair and replace approximately one thousand two hundred linear feet (1200’) of bituminous trails on Northview Drive, Bowie, Maryland. Complete specifications and bid documents may be obtained at no cost through Bid Locker at https://bidlocker.us/details/5277_Fy26_Bituminous_Trail_Repairreplacement_Along_Northview_Drive . Registration to use Bid Locker is at https://bidlocker.us/Account/Signup and is free to all interested parties.

Electronic (pdf) bids will be received through Bid Locker at https://bidlocker.us/details/5277_Fy26_Bituminous_Trail_Repairreplacement_Along_Northview_Drive until 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 13, 2025 . The City of Bowie reserves the right to reject any bids.

Interested bidders are encouraged to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting scheduled Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Public Works Administration Building located at 16500 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD 20715.  A site-visit will follow the meeting.

All questions or requests for clarifications regarding this Invitation for Bids are required to be submitted through the Bid Locker platform at https://bidlocker.us/details/5277_Fy26_Bituminous_Trail_Repairreplacement_Along_Northview_Drive prior to 9:00 a.m. on Monday, October 6, 2025. Written responses to all questions and/or requests for clarifications will be issued as an addendum to the solicitation no later than Tuesday, October 7, 2025, to all those who have registered with Bid Locker and downloaded the specifications and bid documents.

The City encourages certified disadvantaged business entities to submit a bid.
