CITY OF WAYNESBORO NOTICE OF INVITATION TO BID FOR Waynesboro Improving Neighborhood Outcomes in Disproportionately Impacted Communities Bird Dog Recreational Facility Complex THE CITY OF WAYNESBORO-BURKE COUNTY, GEORGIA Sealed bids will be accepted by the City of Waynesboro at the office of the City Manager, 615 N. Liberty Street, Waynesboro, Georgia 30830 until10:00 AM on October 2nd 2025_,for the Bird Dog Recreational Facility Complex,according to plans and specifications. All bids will be opened in public and read aloud following the specified closing time during a special called counsel meeting.The project willconsist ofthe construction oftwo new buildings along with related siteimprovements.Theexisting 4.5acressite is mostly undeveloped with two dilapidatedstructures to be demolished.The firstnewbuilding will be an approximately 4,400 square footmultipurpose facility featuring a kitchen, office space, restrooms, and a large room for indoorlearning and activities. The second building will be an approximately 7,700 square foot gymnasium with a multipurpose court including basketball (full court and four half courts),volleyball, and pickleball. Exterior improvements will include parking areas, stormwater detention and treatment facilities, utilities, site clearing and grading, playground equipmentand an outdoor stage with an elevated viewing area..ANon-MANDATORY pre-bid conference to respond to any questions related to the details of this project will be held at__10:00AM on September 18th2025_,at City of Waynesboro City Hall ,615 N.
