NOTICE OF RECEIVING BIDS

FOR PROVIDING A THREE YEAR BIOSOLIDS DISPOSAL CONTRACT

FOR THE PORTAGE COUNTY WATER RESOURCES DEPARTMENT

SEALED BIDS will be received at the Office of the Portage County Director of Internal

Services, 1st floor – room 114, Portage County Administration Bldg, 449 South Meridian

St., Ravenna Ohio via the United States Postal Service or by UPS or FedEx courier (no

hand deliveries or drop-offs are accepted) until 2:00 p.m., E.S.T. on August 12, 2020 for

providing a three-year biosolids disposal contract for the Portage County Water

Resources Dept.

In an effort to limit the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) bids will be opened to the public VIA

LIVE STREAM ONLY on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at 2:00 PM. The link for the live stream can

be found at https://www.co.portage.oh.us/internal-services/pages/bids-rfps-rfqs

Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond with satisfactory surety or by a certified

check, cashier's check, or money order drawn on a solvent bank and payable to the

Portage County Board of Commissioners in the amount of five percent of the total bid.

Specifications and Official Bid Forms may be obtained from JoAnn Townend, Director of

Internal Services, County Admin. Bldg. rm. 114, 449 South Meridian St., Ravenna, Ohio.

Successful Bidder must comply with Equal Employment Requirements as specified in
