Background
FHI 360 is a nonprofit human development organization dedicated to improving lives in lasting ways by
advancing integrated, locally driven solutions. FHI 360 serves more than 60 countries, all 50 U.S. states
and all U.S. territories.
FHI 360 in Kazakhstan is inviting qualified companies and private entrepreneurs to submit quotations for
procurement of certified biosafety cabinets.
Interested vendors should provide prices for the goods as per the Annex 1. The goods must meet the
specified minimum characteristics.
General Requirements
Request for Quote 1

Incoterms - DDP Astana.
Preferred method of transportation for item is air freight.
Place of delivery: 6/1, Kabanbay Batyr Avenue, Astana, Kazakhstan.
Cost of services must include all expenses of the vendor: freight, taxes, customs fees and quality
control.
Payment: within 30 working days after the actual delivery of the goods and the signing of the
invoice by both parties, by bank transfer to the vendor's bank account.
Payment shall be made in Kazakh tenge at the official USD exchange rate of the National Bank of
the Republic of Kazakhstan on the date of the payment.
Warranty period: not less than 12 months from the date of delivery.
At delivery, the Supplier shall provide:
o Equipment Status
o Equipment must be new, unused, not refurbished, and not demonstration equipment.
o Manufacturing date shall be no earlier than 2026.
Kazakhstan Metrology Requirements where applicable:
o Registration certificate confirming inclusion in the Register of Measuring Instruments
of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
o If not subject to registration, documentation confirming metrological
classification/status.
o Valid verification certificate recognized in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
o Verification methodology in Kazakh and Russian languages or notarized translations.
o Equipment passport and operating manual in Kazakh and Russian languages or
notarized translations.
Calibration certificates issued by accredited laboratories where applicable.
The Supplier shall provide:
o Minimum warranty period of 12 months from acceptance;
o Coverage of all supplied components and accessories;
o Warranty repair at Supplier's expense;
o Replacement of defective components at no additional cost.
Delivery and Installation
The quoted price shall include:
o Delivery to the Purchaser's site;
o Unloading and installation;
o Commissioning;
o Functional testing;
o User training.

Response deadline: Monday, 31 August 2026, 23:59 (Astana time). Response format: Responses to this
RFQ should be submitted by email to: procurement_epic.kz@fhi360.org, please put in the Subject line:
"RFQ FY26-EpiC-093 Procurement of equipment for Biosafety cabinets certification".
Qualifications:
1. At least 5 years of experience in similar deliveries.
2. Experience in working with international non-profit organizations.
3. Distributor letter from the manufacturer and / or a license confirming that the supplier is an official
distributor of these goods.

4. The requested product must be officially registered in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
A legal entity with mandatory registration and a license for this activity (submission of a copy required).
Evaluation Criteria: Proposals will be evaluated in accordance with the following criteria:
1. Proposed price (40%)
2. The specifications that meet the requirements (30 %)
3. Delivery Schedule (20%)
4. Demonstration of past performance (10%)
Required Documentation: Proposals must include the following components:
Company profile.
Copy of company's or private entrepreneur's registration certificate.
Copy of a legal entity with mandatory registration and a license for this activity
Price quotation (Annex to the RFQ), including detailed technical specifications, in Kazakhtsani
tenge (KZT) or US Dollars (USD), inclusive of all costs and applicable taxes, valid for 90 (ninety)
calendar days from the proposal submission deadline;
Indication of equipment delivery timelines (lead-time from approved Purchase order);
Photos and/or product brochures/mock-ups of the proposed goods;
Copy of distributor letter from the manufacturer and / or a license confirming that the supplier is
an official distributor of these goods.
Copy of the documents confirming that the product is registered in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
And other necessary documents if the purchase is specific.
