Service Subscription Includes:

(1) Live technical support 7 days per week
(2) Annual CLSI guidelines update in BIOMIC software
(3) Annual BIOMIC software upgrade including new product features
(4) Complete system hardware warranty
(5) System installation and setup (via telephone and email)
(6) LIS interface support (LIS provider may charge separate fee)

****Vendor will provide 24-inch touch-screen monitor with the system; however, a computer is not included.  End User must have a computer***

Computer Requirements:

(1) Microsoft Windows 10 or 11
(2) All Microsoft Service Packs and Critical Updates must be applied
(3) Four available USB ports
(4) Serial port for LIS connection
(5) Internet Connection
(6) Surge Protector

One (1) BIOMIC V3 Microbiology System needs to be updated at each of the following locations:

(1) Elba Veterinary Laboratory, J.B. Taylor Regional Veterinary Lab, 495 State Road 203, Elba, AL 36323.

(2) Boaz Veterinary Laboratory, Mitchem-Sparks Regional Diagnostic Laboratory, 1833 Industrial Boulevard, Boaz, AL 35957.

(3) Hanceville Veterinary Laboratory, Hinton-Mitchem Poultry Regional Diagnostic Laboratory, 1001 Industrial Drive, Hanceville, AL 35077.

Supplier Part Number Requirement on Quick Quotes:
The standard solicitation submission requirement to provide a “Supplier Part Number” has been removed.  This information may still be necessary for certain Quick Quotes. If required, agencies shall include the following term and conditions to clearly indicate to suppliers that part number(s) for each item are necessary.

Model/Part Number and Descriptive literature:
The brands and model numbers referenced provide a level of quality, and unless otherwise specified, are not restrictive. Suppliers quoting alternate items must provide a complete model/part number as well as descriptive/technical literature for consideration and evaluation with their quote. Reference to literature with a previous solicitation will not satisfy this requirement.  Failure to provide the required literature may result in the rejection of the supplier’s response.
