BIDDER PREQUALIFICATION REQUEST ? DABNEY HALL RENOVATION ? EARLY ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT PACKAGE

New Atlantic Contracting, Inc. is seeking to prequalify vendors to submit bids for the furnishing of material and equipment for the NC State Dabney Hall Renovation project. New Atlantic Contracting, Inc. hasbeen selected as the Construction Manager at Risk for the project and will receive bids from and contract with the vendor for the execution of the work. Small, minority, women, and disabled-owned business enterprises are encouraged to participate.

Work includes furnishing a diesel generator, electrical switchgear, and other electrical equipment and material components as part of an Early Electrical Equipment Package.

Historically underutilized business participation is highly encouraged. If a MWBE firm requests assistance with cash flow needs, New Atlantic Contracting will work with that vendor, to arrange payment on a biweekly basis through a joint check arrangement. Similar project experience will be considered during prequalification.

Subcontractor Prequalification Submittal Deadline to New Atlantic: January 6, 2025 at 5pm

Submittals for prequalification should be made on the provided form and submitted to New Atlantic Contracting for review. The prequalification forms are available by emailing: bkrumenacker@new-atlantic.net

The CM and Owner reserve the right to reject any and all Prequalification Submittals.

Prequalification for this project will comply with the State of North Carolina Prequalification Policy as set forth per North Carolina Session Law 2014-42 – https://ncadmin.nc.gov/documents/state-nc-qualification-policy .

Contracting method will be through Competitive Public Bid in accordance with Chapter 143 of the NC General Statues.
