Description:

Sealed bids for furnishing the following to the City of Cortez, Colorado, will be received at the office of the General Services Director, City Service Center, 110 West Progress Circle, Cortez, CO   81321, until 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read.

Supply labor and provide all materials and equipment required for the installation of a 3-inch bulk water control valve, an integrated flow meter, and suitable pressure reduction at the current water dock station, which will also feature a new control station capable of managing three distinct control valves of sizes ¾-inch, 2-inch, and 3-inch. The installation of the control station must encompass all essential components, including plumbing, wiring, power supply, and internet connectivity. The water dock is located at the City Service Center.

Bid documents, including drawings and specifications, can be examined at the City Service Center. A non-refundable fee of $25 will be charged for bid documents, electronic or hard copy.

All bidders must have purchased the bid documents directly from the City of Cortez in order to bid on this project.
A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting and project site visit will be held for all interested vendors on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 1:00 PM MDT. Vendors should meet at the City Service Center.

Bids shall be submitted in writing on the documents provided and signed by the vendor or its duly- authorized agent. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes and marked on the outside with “BID – 2025 Water Dock Retrofit Project – City of Cortez” and with the bidder’s name.
