ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Project Name: Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter Re-roofing & Canopy Addition

Sealed Bid Proposals will be received by the City of Tuscaloosa, at the Council Chamber of City

Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on January 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. local time for this project, at

which time bids will be opened and read.

Pre-Bid Conference: Attendance at the MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference is required in order for

a General Contractor to submit a bid on this Project. The Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the

Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on January 22, 2026, 10:00 a.m. local

time.

Project Scope: Reroofing of Metro Animal Shelter with alternate scope for internal improvements

related to wall insulation and installation of aluminum canopies.

Award of the contract will be made within sixty (60) calendar days from the date of the bid

opening.

Plans and Specifications: Plans and specifications and all related Contract Documents are open

for public inspection at Ward Scott Morris Architecture, Inc., designated as the office of the

awarding authority for this purpose, located at 1606 Paul W. Bryant Drive, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401.

and hard copy plans, specifications and other elements of the contract documents may be

ordered from the same website and picked up at 2806 Greensboro Avenue, Tuscaloosa, Alabama

35401. A fully refundable deposit of $100.00 per set payable to TuscaBlue Printing and Sign
