Dodge City Community College is requesting sealed bid proposals for BID# 26-002 RFP DC3 Burke Drive
Pavement Project.
Project Context:
This project will be comprised of the removal of the existing asphalt pavement and replacement with concrete
pavement on Burke Drive at Dodge City Community College. Along with; curb and guttering, ADA sidewalk ramps,
and sidewalk replacement (shown as Alt. 1). All contractors will submit bids following specifications as called out in
the SMH Consultants Burke Drive Replacement Documents.
All contractors will submit bids as followed;
1. As called out in SMH Consultants Burke Drive Replacement Documents at 8-inch-thick concrete pavement
roadway.
2. As called out in SMH Consultants Burke Drive Replacement Documents with revision of 7-inch-thick
concrete pavement roadway.
3. Separate additional cost as called out in SMH Consultant Burke Drive Replacement Documents of “ALT #1
– REPLACE 4’ CONCRETE SIDEWALK 10’ WIDE.”
Note:
Project start date called out as mid-May is negotiable if DC3 agrees with appropriate phasing.

Minimum Specifications for RFP DC3 Burke Drive Pavement Project
General Information:
• Removal of existing asphalt as needed.
• All dirt work must be included in the total project cost.
• List total project cost.

All specified items are preferred, but if unable to quote for the specified item, vender can, with notification, include a
substitute for an equivalent item.
Other Bid Specifications and Conditions:
1. All bid quotations to be valid for ninety (90) days.
2. DCCC reserves the right to split up the items to different vendors.
3. Please note any bid specifications exceptions.
4. Items should be available within thirty (30) days of issuance of Purchase Order.
5. Include freight costs for on-campus delivery on a separate line.
