Bid Request for Property Clean Up (0 Bailey Station Way, Lot 11 Bailey Station, Sharpsburg GA)

Coweta County is accepting proposals for Property Clean Up (0 Bailey Station Way, Lot 11 Bailey Station, Sharpsburg GA, PID #121 6059 095); all proposals must be received no later than Monday, September 8, 2025 at 8:00 AM. Proposals received after this date and time will not be accepted and will be considered invalid. The bid will be awarded at the Board of Commissioners meeting on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.

Scope:

• Property must be completely mowed (the entire lot) including weed eating and edging where needed. All shrubs/trees must be trimmed, flower beds weeded (including removal of all sapling trees, honeysuckle vines, undergrowth, etc.) All vegetation and trimmings must be removed along with all trash and debris on property.

All the following documentation will be required from the successful bidder

A certificate of insurance evidencing the following:

• General Liability coverage in the amount of not less than $1,000,000.00 per occurrence including products and completed operations. Coweta County, Georgia and the Coweta County Board of Commissioners are to be added as additional insured to the General Liability policy for premises/operations and products/completed operations.
• An aggregate of $1,000,000.00 should be stated on the Certificate of Insurance.
  
  Workers' compensation coverage with employers' liability limits set at statutory minimums.
• Automobile liability including non-owned automobile liability of not less than $1,000,000.00.
• Completed Contractor Affidavit (Affidavit under O.C.G.A. § 13-10-91(b)(1)) unless the contractor/vendor meets one of the following conditions.
  
  • The contractor/vendor has no employees (in which case they must present an approved state issued identification card/drivers’ license from an approved state as provided on the Attorney General’s website).
  • The contract is with an individual licensed under Title 26, Title 43, or the State Bar of Georgia who is in good standing and that individual is performing that service.
  • The total proposal amount is $2499.99 or less.
• A copy of the contractor/vendors valid business license.
