Invitation for Bid #RDWY-01-2025, HWY 92 INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTSScope of Work: HWY 92 INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS involves improvements to the intersection ofHwy 92 at the economic development site known as the LYH03 â Bailey Site, currently under construction. Theprimary intersection improvements are situated on Hwy 92 approx. 700 feet north of Skipwith Road near ChaseCity. Improvements include corridor widening, entrance, and turn lanes along Hwy 92, reconstruction of Hwy 92to address sight distance limitations, and paving of Butler Farm Road. The total scope of work involvesimprovements along approximately 2,500 linear feet of roadway. Construction consists of pavement demolition,widening, resurfacing and/or replacement as required to develop and improve the new subject intersection andassociated turn lanes. Construction along Butler Farm Road consists of reconstructing the existing stone/gravelroadway in-place with full-depth asphalt pavement. Construction also includes improvements to overall drainageand ditches, clearing, grading, asphalt paving, erosion & sediment control, signage, pavement markings, and otheritems necessary for the completion of the work. The project is funded and administered by Mecklenburg County.
