Bid #26083 Portland International Jetport Remove and Replace Gate No. 107
Sealed bids to Remove and Replace Gate No. 107 at the Portland International Jetport shall be submitted electronically to bidsubmit@portlandmaine.gov with the name of the Bidder, Contract Name and Bid number in the subject line will be received until 3:00 P.M., Thursday, April 23, 2026, at which time they will be opened and read. Proposals may also be submitted via USPS, UPS or FedEx to the City of Portland, Purchasing Rm. 103, 389 Congress St., Portland ME 04101. It is the bidder’s sole responsibility to ensure that their bid is submitted prior to the date and time specified. Late bids shall not be accepted.

Outline of Work: The project includes the removal and disposal of the existing 40 ft. aluminum double slide gate, and installation of a new 40 ft. aluminum double slide gate located at the easterly end of the airfield. The project will include installation of new external electrical disconnects, bollards, loop detection systems, and all other ancillary items to provide a new functional gate. The existing electrical power feed and gate access control systems will be reused.
MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE
It is mandatory that all prospective contractors attend a pre-bid meeting that will be held at the Portland International Jetport. This meeting will be held in Conference Room A, located near the administrative offices on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 10:00am. Only those firms represented at this meeting may bid on the project.
