Bid 26-22 Oils, Lubricants and Anti-Freeze (Annual Contract)

The specific product specifications and/or requested scope of services requested by the District are outlined below. Unless the solicitation expressly states that no substitutions will be considered for a particular product, brand names are intended only to be illustrative of product specifications and do not require use of a specific manufacturer. The solicitation may identify attachments with additional product specifications or services. If Bidder wishes to propose alternative products or services, it should do so in writing before the date indicated for ¿Deadline for Bidder Questions, Requests for Interpretations, Requests for Material Substitution of Products, Services or Contract Terms¿ set forth in the Invitation to Bid Timeline on page 1 of this solicitation, as may be modified by addenda.

All oils, lubricants and anti-freeze required under this contract are for equipment and vehicles which are under repair. Therefore, delivery time is critical. The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System reserves the right to make purchases from other than the contract vendor on a case-by-case basis when deemed that the contract vendor¿s delivery time is unacceptable.

Additional purchases may be required for oil, fluids, and lubricants that are not covered in this bid. Pricing of these items should be consistent with the lowest pricing offered by the vendor to their best customer.
