Bid Notice Euclid Avenue Water Main Improvements

EUCLID AVENUE WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENTS

Sealed proposals will be received by the Village of Arlington Heights, 33 S. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois, until 9:00 A.M. local time on April 1 ^st , 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.

Base Bid:
Replace approximately 13,550 L.F. of 4” through 12” water main via open cut (5,600 L.F.) and directional drilling (7,950 L.F.) methods, including new water services, lead service line replacements, hydrants, valves, and other appurtenances. Additionally, install approximately 78 L.F. of 24” storm sewer on Forrest Avenue.

Alternate #1:
Replace approximately 642 L.F. of water main via open cut methods on Greenbriar Court, including new water services, hydrants, valves, and other appurtenances.

A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at the Village of Arlington Heights Public Works, 222 North Ridge Avenue, Arlington Heights, IL  60005.

All proposals or bids offered must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 10% of the total bid in the form of a certified check, bid bond or cashier’s check made payable to the Village of Arlington Heights. No bids shall be considered unless accompanied by such security.

Bidders shall comply with the Prevailing Wage Rate Act (820 ILCS 130).  Bidders will also be required to comply with the applicable equal employment opportunity provisions.

The Village of Arlington Heights reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities in bidding and to accept the proposal deemed by the Board of Trustees to be the most favorable to the interests of the Village.
