Job Specifications:
* Area approximately 230' x 55'
* Exiting asphalt curb to be preserved as border
* Currently in rough grade condition, all demo was completed in July
* Irrigation specifications: Below
* Coverage: standard head to head coverage with three foot overlap, all laterals at 12 inch
minimum depth
* Pipe sizing standard size to gain adequate coverage, schedule 40 only, no class 200
* Initial irrigation tie-in to be determined by district and verified at the mandatory job walk
* Clock: Hunter six station X-Core to be installed by contractor on shed nearby-to be
identified at job walk
* Amendment: Mier Brothers triple mix, two inch depth throughout- rototilled in
* Sod: Enduro Dwarf tall fescue, installed per standard procedure with Lesco 18-24-12
Starter Fertilizer
For bidding purposes contractor will be responsible for installing:
1-Hunter X-Core 6 station outdoor mount Controller
3- Hunter 2" ICV201 G Valves-One valve per Nds 114BC Valve box 14x19 In. Standard Green
1- 2" Mateo Brass Gate Valve-NOS 10 inch Round Valve Box
2-1" Mateo Brass Gate Valve-NDS 6 inch Round Valve Box
14- Hunter I-40-06-SS Adjustable Rotor Sprinklers/ with typical swing joint assembly
(There will be 3 different valves. 2 valves having 5 sprinklers on it and one with 4)
NOTE: Contractor will be responsible for installing 2 Aqualine, or similar- 3/4" Brass Fip x 3/4"
Mht Inverted Garden Hose Bib. Hose bib will be mounted and secured to a 4x4 pressure
treated post. 3/4" Schedule 80 pipe will be used for the riser. Height will be determined by
LMUSD depending on grade. Supply line to Hose bibs will be 1" schedule 40 pipe. Location of
hose bibs will be determined at job walk through.
NOTE: All irrigation must be inspected for proper coverage, and in compliance with LMUSD
procedures before installation of sod.
District to assume maintenance responsibilities immediately upon completion.

Mandatory Job Walk: Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. at Ocean View Elementary
lower parking lot. All prospective bidders need to be signed in by 9:30 a.m.
Sealed Bids must be received by the Facilities Department no later than 2:00 p.m. on
Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
