Bid No. 25-26/28, Lenovo Business Desktops and Monitors
This Addendum modifies the original Bid documents for the above referenced Bid. Acknowledge
receipt of this addendum in the space provided on Bid Form (Attachment 2). Failure to do so may
disqualify your bid.
The following questions were submitted by the deadline and are answered in this addendum.
1. Question: Are you open to equivalents and/or alternative manufacturers with matching
specs?
Answer: No, the Port has standardized on specific Lenovo Desktops and Monitors and will not
accept comparable products.
2. Question: Is the 5-year warranty separate from the bid or SKU listed on the bid document?
Answer: No, the custom SKU includes the 5-year warranty and all of the required
configurations.
3. Question: Can you please provide any special delivery requirements, such as lift gate service,
loading dock access, or inside delivery?
Answer: Delivery of equipment is to 530 Water Street. We have a loading dock available for
freight deliveries. If shipping via freight, please inform us in advance of the anticipated
delivery date and approximate time of arrival so we can coordinate access. We also accept
ground deliveries via FedEx, UPS, and DHL; for these carriers, inside delivery will be required.
4. Question: To formally submit a bid for consideration, we’ll need your assistance with
getting (vendor name) added to your existing Lenovo Master Contract. Specifically, we’ll need
your help ensuring the contract reflects our organization (vendor name), the end user (Port of
Oakland), and the applicable SKU
