Bid No. 25-30: Invitation for Bids; Price Agreement for Sodium Hydroxide The Springfield Water and Sewer Commission (hereafter; “SWSC” or the “Commission”), through its Chief Procurement Officer, is seeking bids from qualified Vendors for Sodium Hydroxide as pH Control for Water Systems. The selected vendor will supply the SWSC approximately 400 tons, dry weight (Na2O), of liquid caustic soda 50% (diaphragm grade) to West Parish Filters Treatment Plant, located at 1515 Granville Road, Westfield MA 01085-4046. Up to two (2) vendors will be awarded a contract. The term of the Contract shall be for One (1) Year. The amount of the contract will be for an amount not to exceed $300,000.00 per year. All questions must be made in writing and submitted via email to the APO theo.theocles@waterandsewer.org no later than 02/03/2025 at 4:00 P.M. in order to be considered. The Chief Procurement Officer/designee reserves the right to reject any and all proposals if it is in the best interest of the SWSC to do so. MGL Ch. 30B
