The City of Phenix City, Alabama will accept bids for the Municipal Building Addition & Renovations located
at 1119 Broad Street, Phenix City, AL 36867. Applicants requesting proposed bid documents, which include
the plans and specifications should be filed with NEAL, KENDUST & MURRAY, P.C., ARCHITECTS, 233
12TH STREET, SUITE 503, COLUMBUS, GA 31901. Email request to edkendust@nkmpc.com.
The project is for the addition and renovations at the Municipal Building located at 1119 Broad Street, Phenix
City, AL 36867.
The proposal should be hand delivered or mailed in a clearly marked sealed envelope to the following:

The proposal should include the following:
1. The Bid Amount
2. An estimated construction schedule timeline
3. Copy of the required Bid Bond
4. Copy of State of Alabama General Contractors License
Each bidder must hold an Alabama General Contractors License.
Before construction begins contractor and all subcontractors will be required to hold a Phenix City Business
License.
A 5% bid bond or cashier's check must accompany your bid. Any bid, which does not have a bond or cashier's
check at bid opening, shall not be considered.
Payment, in full, shall be awarded after the completion of a final inspection.
The right is reserved to accept or reject all or any parts of your offer and to accept the offer the City Council
considers the most advantageous to the City.
The City of Phenix City is exempt from all federal excise taxes. Do not include tax in your bid price.

Closed bids should be submitted to the Purchasing Agent in the Finance Department located at 601 12th Street,
Phenix City, AL. Bids would be accepted in the Finance Department until 9:30 AM on October 1, 2026.
