The City of Mobile's Department of Community and Housing Development (CHD) has a new round of bids being issued at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at the Levon Manzie Neighborhood Resource Center located at 110 N. Lafayette St. Mobile, AL 36604.  New and prospective contractors are welcomed to attend this bid meeting but will not be able to participate until all required paperwork has been turned in and approved.  Due to changes in the program, the 2025 Critical Repair Application was limited to roof replacements only.  There is one job available from the last application cycle that is for electric and HVAC.  This meeting should last no longer than one hour.  General questions and concerns can be asked at this time. Any response that arrives improperly marked or with no bid number and opening date on the outside of the delivery or express package and opened in error will be rejected and not considered. It is the responsibility of the bidder to insure that their bid response is delivered to and received in the at the location or address specifically directed in the specification by the date and time prescribed.
