Bid 14-030425 Market District Infrastructure Improvements Project

North Carolina General Statute (N.C.G.S.) 143-132(a) requires a minimum of three competitive bids be received for formal construction and repair contracts. Three bids were not received on March 4, 2025. Should fewer than the required three bids be offered for formal projects advertised as N.C.G.S. 143-129 requires, the project may be re-advertised.

Therefore, pursuant to N.C.G.S. formal bidding laws, sealed bid proposals endorsed “Bid 14-030425 Market District Improvements Project will be received by the Purchasing Division of the City of High Point, North Carolina, located in the Municipal Operations Center, Warehouse Building at 816 East Green Drive, High Point, NC, until 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at which date and time they will be opened and publicly read aloud. Three bids are not required at this second offering; as few as one valid bid may be opened and considered for award per NCGS 143-132.

The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, as may in the judgment of the City, serve its best interest and the City further reserves the right to waive irregularities and informalities in any bid submitted.
