Notice is hereby given that a sealed bid will be received by the Lafayette Parish School System by the Purchasing Department located at 202 Rue Iberville, Lafayette, LA 70508 for the following:

#610 Limestone
Bid #07-25
Opening: November 14, 2024 @ 10:00 am CST
The bid #07-25 is to procure #610 grey limestone for parking lots areas within the Lafayette Parish School District as needed during the 2024-2025 school year.
Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the above stated time and date in a Conference Room of the Lafayette Parish School System District Office Building.
Complete bidding documents may be obtained on the Purchasing Department website at https://www.lpssonline.com/departments/business-services/purchasing under ‘Public Bid Specifications – Materials & Supplies’. Bid information may also be viewed online, and electronic bids may be submitted online at www.centralauctionhouse.com. Specifications will be available Wednesday, October 30, 2024.
The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. In accordance with LA. R.S. 38:2212 (a)(1)(b), the provisions and requirements of this section, those stated in the Advertisement for Bids, and those required on the bid form shall not be waived by any public entity.
Preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, and provisions produced, manufactured or grown in Louisiana, quality being equal to articles offered by competitors outside the state.
The Lafayette Public School System strongly encourages the participation of minority business enterprises in all contracts or procurements let by the Board for goods and services. To that end, all contractors and suppliers are encouraged to utilize minority business enterprises in the purchase of sub-contracting of materials, supplies, and services in which minority owned businesses are available.
