NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the Purchasing Agent of the Township of Montgomery on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 10:00 AM local prevailing time in the Meeting Room at the Municipal Building, 100 Community Dr., Skillman NJ 08558 which time and place bids will be opened and read in public for:

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Township of Montgomery is accepting bids for Janitorial Services for the Township’s Municipal Offices, Library, Police Department, Otto Kaufmann Community Center, and Public Works Facility.
Bid documents are available electronically in PDF format only. Please contact the Purchasing Department during regular business hours 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The prospective bidder shall provide an email address, which permits delivery certification and the requestor shall confirm receipt of the bid documents in writing. Submit electronic bid document requests to sweidenfeller [at] montgomerynj.gov (sweidenfeller[at]montgomerynj[dot]gov) . Any notices of addendums or cancellation and postponements may be found under Current Bidding Opportunities at www.Montgomerynj.gov . Questions shall be submitted in writing to sweidenfeller [at] montgomerynj.gov (sweidenfeller[at]montgomerynj[dot]gov) .
Bid documents are provided free of charge in Adobe PDF format. A free version of Adobe Reader can be downloaded at www.adobe.com .
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq.
The bidder must submit one original, one copy, and one electronic version of the bid (on a flash drive) to the Purchasing Agent. It is the bidder’s sole responsibility to ensure that the complete bid package is delivered directly to the Purchasing Agent by the specified bid opening date and time. Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances, regardless of the delivery method.
A pre-bid inspection of the sites will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at the Municipal Complex located at 100 Community Drive, Skillman, NJ 08558. Questions regarding pre-bid inspection can be sent to mgreco [at] montgomerynj.gov (mgreco[at]montgomerynj[dot]gov) .
Bids must be in a sealed envelope, bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project. This information must be on the outside of the envelope and addressed to the Purchasing Agent in the following format:

If the bid is sent by overnight or express mail, the above designation SHALL also appear on the outside of the courier company envelope.
Any proposal received not complying with these requirements SHALL not be opened and returned to sender marked “Unresponsive”.
