The City of Hot Springs will accept sealed bids until the time and date stated below for the following:
Bid HS-26-015 - MONDAY, MARCH 9, 2025 AT 2:00 PM C.T – PROVIDE LABOR AND MATERIALS FOR STREET LIGHTING IMPROVEMENTS (CDBG), HOT SPRINGS, AR
The complete bid packet is available online at http://arkansas.ionwave.net . Bidders must register at this site to submit bids electronically. This is the preferred method of submittal. Sealed paper responses to this invitation can also be submitted to the City of Hot Springs Purchasing Division, 324 Malvern Ave, 2nd Floor, Room 206, 71901, P.O. Box 6300, 71902, Hot Springs, AR. A performance and payment bond is written by a responsible surety company authorized to do business in Arkansas, in the amount of the contract, will be required on all contracts in excess of $35,000. Bid security in the form of a cashier’s check only (relative to other types of checks), drawn on a bank or trust company doing business in Arkansas, or a corporate bid bond in favor of the City of Hot Springs and in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount is required on bids exceeding $35,000 and must be submitted with the bid.
The City of Hot Springs encourages participation from SBA and MBE/DBE/WBE vendors. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities or minor exceptions. The City will accept the bid that is in the City’s best interest. The City of Hot Springs hereby notifies all bidders that this contract is subject to applicable labor laws, non-discrimination provisions, wage rate laws and other federal laws. “Build America, Buy America” provisions apply to this project. Registration and good standing in the System for Award Management (SAM) will be required prior to contract execution.
