Description
Project Description: Lycoming County owns and currently manages a Farm, which consists of approximately 15 acres of pasture. The pasture is divided into 4 paddocks for rotating cattle grazing in accordance with NRCS prescribed grazing plan.
The daily stocking rate for each grazing unit shall be no more than 15 head of cattle (no bulls). Stocking levels and season of use are determined by monitoring and vary by grazing unit and forage condition. The County shall provide water and roofed shed for bedding. The Lessee shall provide feed in case of a drought and the pasture dries up.
