NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Victor Elementary School District (“District”) will
receive up to, but not later than 12:00 p.m. on March 11, 2026, sealed bids for the award
of a contract for:
Door Replacement, Two Sites
Sealed bids will be received at Victor Elementary School District, 12219 Second Avenue,
Victorville, CA 92395 and shall contain one original copy. This package must be clearly
labelled “Bid # 26-001 Door Replacement, Two Sites” and include the legal name,
address, Vendors contract person, and a telephone number on the outside of the package.
Bids shall be delivered to the attention of Ashley Pele, Purchasing Manager, Victor
Elementary School District.
It is the sole responsibility of the Vendor submitting the bid to ensure that it is received by
the District prior to the deadline time and due time and at the proper location. Unless this
bid is extended by a written addendum, Bids received after 12:00 p.m. on the due date,
will not be considered and will be returned unopened. Only bids submitted on District
forms and in accordance with the instructions in this package will be accepted.
Bid documents will be available beginning on February 8, 2026 at the location specified
above, on the District’s website at www.vesd.net, or via email request to apele@vesd.net.
There will be a mandatory Pre-Bid Job Walk on February 23, 2026 at 8:00 am. Starting
location for the job walk will be Brentwood Elementary, located at 13962 Hook Blvd
Victorville, CA 92394.
As a condition of bidding and in accordance with the provisions of Section 20111.5 of the
California Public Contract Code, prospective prime contract bidders are required to submit
to the District proof of prequalification for the 2026-2027 calendar year OR a completed
prequalification questionnaire and financial statement. All prequalification packets are to
be submitted on Quality Bidders. All submissions must be completed by 4:00 p.m. on
February 25, 2026.
License Classification: Class B
Each bid must conform and be responsive to this notice and all other documents
comprising the contract documents. All interested parties may obtain additional
information by contacting Ashley Pele, Purchasing Manager at apele@vesd.net. All
questions must be submitted in writing no later than 2:00 p.m. on February 27, 2026.
All forms must be completed, signed, and returned with the bid. No bidder may withdraw
its bid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the date set for the receipt of bids.

The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept or reject any one
or more items of a bid, or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bid or in
the bidding process.
