The city of Pittsburg is Requesting Proposals from qualified vendors for the annual 4th of July fireworks display. Proposals will be received until Tuesday March 3rd 2026 @ 2:00 PM. Proposals must be received in the City Clerk’s Office 201 W 4th Street, or mailed to PO Box 688 Pittsburg KS 66762 and labeled “RFP FIREWORKS DISPLAY”

4th of July Fireworks Display

ADDENDUM NO. 1

February 24, 2026

The following changes, additions, modifications, information and clarification are

hereby made to the specifications and shall be incorporated in preparations of all

proposals for the work.

1. Change in Insurance Requirements:

Seller shall procure and keep in force during the term of this contract

insurance liability coverage against claims for bodily injury, death and

property damage with single limits coverage of not less than $2,000,000

for Commercial General Lability Insurance per incident for bodily injury

and death and property damage, with not less than $3,000,000 per

incident for an Umbrella or Excess liability Insurance with an insurer in

good standing and licensed to do business in the State of Kansas.

2. The City of Pittsburg, its officers, officials, employees, agents and

volunteers shall be named as additional insured under the Commercial

General Liability Policy and Under the Umbrella/Excess liability Policy.
