DEMOLITION AND CLEARANCE OF PUBLIC NUISANCE PROPERTIES
PHASE I & II

Separate sealed bids for the demolition and clearance of specified public nuisance properties will be received by the City of Enterprise in the Department of Engineering Services office at Enterprise City Hall located at 501 South Main Street, Enterprise, Alabama 36330 until 2:00 PM., C.S.T. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The project consists of the asbestos remediation, demolition and complete clearance of up to twenty-five (25) public nuisance properties located within the corporate limits of the City of Enterprise, Alabama. A Pre-Demolition Asbestos Survey for all properties is provided in the bid documents.  ALL WORK (ABATEMENT, DEMOLITION, AND CLOSEOUT) SHALL BE COMPLETED WITHIN 90 CALENDAR DAYS OF NOTICE TO PROCEED.

Bidding Requirements, Contract Forms, Conditions of the Contract, Specifications, and other Contract Documents may be examined during normal business hours at the office of Barry Mott, City Engineer and Public Works Director, 501 South Main St., Enterprise, Alabama 36330 and at (334) 348 - 2671.

No pre-bid conference will be held for this project.

All bids must be submitted on bid forms provided by the City of Enterprise, Alabama and available from the Enterprise Engineering Services Department located at Enterprise City Hall. Bids must be submitted to the Enterprise Department of Engineering Services in a sealed envelope marked “Bid 2025-10, Phase I & II - Demolition and Clearance 01-13-2026”. The Bidder’s name and address shall appear on the outside of the sealed bid and the Bidder’s General Contractor’s License shall be listed on the outside of the sealed bid, if applicable.

Bidders may contact Mr. Barry Mott, City Engineer and Public Works Director, Enterprise Department of Engineering Services at (334) 348 - 2671 to obtain the Bid Package which includes all pertinent bid information.  Each BIDDER must deposit with his BID, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.

THE CITY OF ENTERPRISE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO WAIVE ANY INFORMALITY AND TO REJECT ANY AND ALL BIDS.
