Project: Holland Rec Center

Project Description: Construction of an 86,000sf Multi-sport recreational facility in Holland, MI. Only Division 31 - Sitework is being released at this time. No other bids will be accepted. The whole project will be released for bidding in early September 2026.

Bid Documents: Available on Procore at noon on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. Contact Aaron at Lakewood Construction for access to the documents on Procore.

BIDS DUE: Bids will be due on Wednesday August 19, 2026, at 1:00pm at Holland City Hall (2nd Floor Training Room). All bids dropped off early shall be hand delivered to City Hall Finance Department (1st Floor of City Hall) or hand delivered to Lakewood Construction's office by 11:00am. Bids may be mailed to Lakewood Construction, 11253 James Street, Holland, MI 49424. Mailed bids must be received no later than August 18, 2026 by 5:00 pm. FAXED OR EMAILED BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.”

Notes: Owner shall have the right to accept or reject any and all bids.

Bid Forms must be filled out completely and in duplicate, and PCP bonds shall be included as part of the base bid total.

Each bid shall be accompanied by good and sufficient bid security or bid bond in an amount not less than 5% of the Bid amount and shall secure the Owner from loss or damage by reason of the withdrawal of the Bid by a Bidder or by failure of the successful Bidder to enter into a Contract if their bid is accepted by the Owner.

Bid Opening: This will be a publicly opened bid, immediately following the bid due date and time. Contractors will be required to deliver their bids in sealed envelopes with their company name, project name and work category clearly labeled on the front of the envelope – Refer to the front end documents for additional information.
