ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Project Name:36th Avenue East at Rainbow Drive Drainage Improvements

Sealed Bid Proposals will be received by the City of Tuscaloosa, at the Council Chamber of City

Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on February 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. local time for this project,

at which time bids will be opened and read.

Pre-Bid Conference: Attendance at the MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference is required in order for

a General Contractor to submit a bid on this Project. The Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the

Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on February 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

local time.

Project Scope: Replacement of an existing corrugated metal culvert with 48 linear feet of precast

reinforced concrete 88’x54’ arch pipe. Project also includes 78 linear feet of 18” diameter RCP,

roadway asphalt patching, erosion control, sodding, and traffic control.

Award of the contract will be made within sixty (60) calendar days from the date of the bid

opening.

for public inspection at the office of_Porter-Higginbotham Engineering, Inc., located at 2009 Paul

W. Bryant Drive, Suite C, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401 and plans, specifications and other elements

of the contract documents may be obtained from the office of the Engineer Porter-

Higginbotham Engineering, Inc., designated as the office of the awarding authority for this

purpose, located at 2009 Paul W. Bryant Drive, Suite C, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401. The contact person
