Bicentennial Park Splash Pad Improvements

The City of Belleville, St. Clair County, Illinois, will receive sealed bids for the construction of the BICENTENNIAL PARK SPLASH PAD IMPROVEMENTS until 10:00 a.m. on November 19, 2024, at the office of the City Clerk 101 S Illinois Street, Belleville, Illinois.  All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 10:00 a.m. on November 19, 2024.  The sealed bids must be delivered to the City Clerk, during regular business hours, prior to the stated bid opening time. The Contract Documents, including Plans and Specifications, are on file at the City’s website (https://belleville.net/bids.aspx).

This project includes construction of a parking lot, concrete curb, concrete sidewalk, decorative fence, shade structure and all other work required to construct the improvements to the splash pad in Bicentennial Park in Belleville Illinois. The City will be taking alternate bids to construct the parking area of either concrete or asphalt according to the typical sections provided within the plans.

No bid will be accepted nor opened which has been received from any bidder who is not a bid document holder of record with the official bid document issuing entity identified in the Notice to Bidders.

Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the Bidder's total bid price, such security being an acceptable bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond in the full amount of the bid.

No Bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The City of Belleville, Illinois, reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or technicalities in the bidding.
