BGIS Lease Improvements - CFIA Building

The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from qualified contractors to complete base building work at the leased premises to:
- Address barrier-free accessibility deficiencies, and
- Complete a base building refresh.
The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, installation of concrete walkways, automatic door openers, accessible washroom upgrades, tactile signage, window coverings, painting, and carpet replacement. Details can be found in PDF attachment.
All work must comply with CAN/CSA B651-2018 – Accessible Design for the Built Environment, be completed to the Lessee’s satisfaction, and be coordinated with the Lessee’s Property & Facility Manager.

The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive irregularities, and negotiate with the preferred proponent.

Terms and Conditions
1. The Town of Battleford is not obligated to accept the lowest-priced or any proposal.
2. Proponents are responsible for all costs associated with proposal preparation.
3. All proposals become the property of the Town & may be subject to disclosure under applicable legislation.
4. Any amendments to this RFP will be issued in writing to all registered proponents.

Confidentiality
All information provided by the Town of Battleford to proponents is confidential & shall not be disclosed without prior written consent.

Site visits may be scheduled during working hours the week of April 13, 2026. Please advise us of your interest in a site visit as soon as possible (ASAP).

Proposals must include for submission:
1. Cover Letter – Company name, address, and primary contact information.
2. Qualifications and Experience – Relevant experience and comparable projects.
3. Project Approach – Proposed methodology, work plan, and timelines.
4. Pricing – Detailed cost breakdown, including any additional fees.
5. References – Minimum of three references for similar projects.
6. Town Resource Requirements – Any assistance required from Town staff.
