[BENCH: 2021 TEP] MINI-RFP - Planning Services for IDEA TSP Program: Marin Countywide Coordinated Signal Modernization Plan (CSMP)

Project Description: The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) invites firms pre-qualified on the 2021 Transportation Engineering and Planning Services Bench in Service Category C: Arterial Operations to apply for this project. All other firms will need to partner with a prime contractor on the Bench as a subconsultant in order to participate on this project. A subconsultant may be on multiple teams. This project is to be completed by June 30, 2027.
The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) is seeking a consultant to assist Marin County with the inventory, update, and improvement of the currently fragmented and outdated traffic signals infrastructure along major transit corridors throughout Marin County and develop a long-term planning framework, including a focused near-term seamless integration with Transit Signal Priority (TSP), Emergency Vehicle Preemption (EVP), pedestrian and bicycle safety, and enhanced safety for vulnerable road users. This project will also identify and design shovel-ready, grant-ready projects with high-impact benefits incorporating TSP and EVP equipment, communication devices, and software, advancing this initiative from planning to near-term actionable implementation.
