To assist working parents, the District offers on-site after school child care for school age children in approximately 16 primary (grades K-2 and K-3), elementary (grades K-5), and intermediate (grades 3-5 and 4-5) schools as well as students enrolled in its Preschool programs (ages 3-4). This program began in 1998 and the District would like to continue this program. As a result, Chesapeake Public Schools, including the School Board (hereafter known as the District) seeks proposals from qualified, licensed, and insured firms to provide a before and after school child care program.Through this Request for Proposal (RFP), the District is seeking to identify one or more vendors who can most fully meet the needs of the District as specified in this document and any associated attachments.
