Summary
Beaufort County is seeking the services of Contractor shall furnish all labor, food, beverages, materials, supplies, and chemicals necessary to provide food services for the inmates and staff at the Beaufort County Detention Center Facilities. Food Service preparation activities shall be performed in the Detention Center and in accordance with State of South Carolina Minimum Standards for Local Detention Facilities.
The Contractor shall also provide staffing and meals for the Detention Center. Beaufort County may require service to additional sites in the future.
Term of the Contract is one (1) year and may be extended for four (4) additional one-year terms. This contract may not exceed five (5) years.
Background
It has been the policy of the Beaufort County Detention Center to use a private contractor to order and cook three meals a day, for the staff and inmates at the Detention Center.
