The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract to provide: collection of localized seeds from specified locations near Vernon, Provo, and Spanish Fork Canyon during the Fall of 2025 in order to plant the seeds and grow seedlings in the desired quantities (totaling 31,000 seedlings made up of multiple species) in a nursery from February - October 2026 to produce plants that are mature enough to plant back in the specified locations during the Fall of 2026.
Mandatory Site Visit: A site visit will NOT be held prior to bidding. It is strongly recommended that each potential bidder inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
It is anticipated that this IFB will result in a single contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor.
Length of Contract: From award until required delivery date of October 15th, 2026.
Vendor must guarantee its pricing for the duration of the contract.
