The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract to provide: Wildfire hazard reduction and improved wildlife habitat by mechanically removing/shredding standing live and dead Pinyon Pine, Juniper trees and saplings with a wheeled or tracked mechanical mulching/shredder (Bullhog) on approximately 694 acres of the Cove Mountain area near Pine Valley in Washington County, Utah.
Mandatory Site Visit: A site visit will NOT be held prior to bidding. It is strongly recommended that each potential bidder inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
It is anticipated that this IFB will result in a single contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor.
Project Performance Time: October 1st, 2025 - April 15th, 2026. Contract time cannot be extended. Vendor must be able to begin work within (7) days of the official Notice-to-Proceed date, which may be as early as the first week of December.
Vendor must guarantee its pricing through completion of the project.
