The Town of Barrington seeks bids from qualified contractors to complete renovations to the Bay Spring Community Center, a municipal-owned building located at 170 Narragansett Avenue in Barrington, as shown on the construction documents. The scope includes but is not limited to: Provide all labor, materials and equipment required for interior renovations, including selective interior demolition, architectural renovations, millwork, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection, and hazardous materials abatement. Exterior work includes concrete, handrails and guard rails.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 am local time on Monday, February 24, 2025, at the Bay Spring Community Center, 170 Narragansett Road. On-street parking is available on Narragansett Avenue and on Spring Avenue (to the rear of the building).

Bids are due no later than 11:00 am local time, on Monday, March 17, 2025, at the Department of Public Works, 84 Upland Way, Barrington, RI, unless adjusted by addendum.  The project is subject to prevailing wage requirements. Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the bid value is required.
