Battery Purchases District Wide

It is the intent of TUSD to contract with a qualified vendor or vendors for the purchase of batteries district wide.

TUSD is looking for only “Energizer or Duracell Brands” or Batteries that may be considered “Equal Quality”. for Group C: Alkaline General-Purpose Batteries.

It should be noted that Centennial, Powersonic or Rayovac Brands will not be considered equal to specified brands. The district will make the determination of what will be considered as “Equal”, and the district decision will be final.

All Batteries must be “Brand New.” Recycled or remanufactured batteries will not be considered for award
