The goal of the State of Good Repair (SOGR) program is to continue to maintain a State of Good Repair and increase the safety and reliability by replacing cables, switchgears, and their components which have reached or are near the end of its useful life cycle. SOGR supports systemwide FTA requirements that will maintain `State of Good Repair.¿ The objective of this acquisition is to procure a battery bank and accessories for immediate replacement of an existing failing battery in WMATA¿s rail system. The battery bank systems provide control power and backup power to critical equipment required for Rail revenue services. The materials referenced in this procurement request remain vital to ensuring safe conditions that meet or exceed safety standards and regulations for the delivery of improvements to and maintenance of existing systems, equipment, and facilities for a safe and reliable metro rail system.
