The City of Garden City Parks and Recreation Department is seeking proposals from qualified metal building contractors to design and construct a turnkey concession and restroom building for each of three baseball diamonds at Frederick Finnup Park. Clint Lightner’s restrooms and concession building should be larger than the other two structures and also include a ticket booth window and additional storage. The restrooms at Clint Lightner Field, Fansler Field, and Cleaver Field have the same architecture and appear to have been built around the same time period
The new metal facilities should be constructed of durable building materials and are intended to provide modern restroom accommodations, functional concession service areas, adequate storage, and an efficient layout capable of supporting attendance during league play and tournament events. The Department is seeking a cost-effective, durable, and low-maintenance solution that will serve the community for many years.
