This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Notice. THIS IS NOT A REQUST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) OR REQUST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) BUT FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
Hurlburt Field Air Force Base anticipates a requirement that is being considered under the small business set-aside program. The North American Industry Classification Systens Code (NAICS) proposed is 561621. The Small Business size standard for this NAICS is $25M.
The potential requirement is to provide Barrier Repair and Maintenance Services and will consist of the contractor providing all management, tools, equipment, supplies, and labor necessary to perform service orders that includes repairs, routine maintenance and inspection of 8 barriers on Hurlburt Field. The contractor shall accomplish all tasks to meet the requirements of the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS).
Market research is being conducted to determine interest, capability, and socio-economic category of potential sources for the requirement. The government requests interested parties submit a brief description of their company's business size (i.e. annual revenues and employee size), business status (i.e., 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, woman-owned small business, veteran-owned small business, or small business) anticipated teaming arrangements, and a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers. We are interested in any small business that is capable of meeting this requirement.
All interested firms should submit a capabilities package that outlines the firm’s capabilities in providing the required services. Contractor is required to provide all management and labor required for the operation and management of the required services. Interested contractors shall submit up to a maximum 5 page capabilities document. The capabilities package shall be brief and concise, yet clearly demonstrate an ability to meet the stated requirements.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Submit an electronic response indicating capability to support the aforementioned services as well as POC (name, telephone # and email address) along with contractor’s CAGE CODE, DUNS and System for Award Management (SAM) expiration date to the individuals listed within this notice. The response shall not exceed 5 pages. Telephone responses will not be accepted.
