#8260 Bardo Gym Flooring and Bleacher Replacement

Project Description: Pennsylvania College of Technology is seeking bids for: A single prime contractor to remove and replace the existing Lewis H. Bardo Gymnasium wood flooring system, remove current bleacher(s) and install new powered bleacher(s), and supply and install a protective matting for the new wood floor system. Bidding documents are available at no cost, via the PennBid Program (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com). A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, 9 January 2025. Prospective bidders will meet at the northeast entrance of the Lewis H. Bardo Gymnasium, located at 1035 W. 3rd Street, Williamsport, PA. Bids will be accepted until 2:30 PM on Wednesday, 22 January 2025, via the PennBid Program. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond of an approved Surety Company, certified check, or cashier’s check in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the proposal. Bond or check shall be drawn in favor of Pennsylvania College of Technology. This project is a project constituting public works and is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, of August 15, 1961, P.L. as amended and supplemented. Bids must be in the hands of the undersigned at the stated date and time, when bids will be electronically opened. The College reserves the right to waive any informalities in bidding, reject any or all bids, select a single item from any bid, or accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the College.
