Barberry Relief Sewer Project

The proposed project is for the construction of approximately 7,770 linear feet of combined sewer, ranging in diameter from 66 inches to 78 inches, along Barberry Street between Eureka Road and Brest Street. The project also includes a drop/access structure over the Eureka Tunnel on the southwest corner of Eureka Road and Barberry Street and a diversion structure at the intersection of Barberry Street and Sycamore Street. The project also includes 27 connections of existing sanitary sewer laterals to the Barberry Sewer between Sycamore and Brest Street, as well as the removal and reconstruction of 26 water mains crossing Barberry Street. The project also includes the complete removal and reconstruction of the storm sewer, concrete roadway, sidewalk, and driveway approaches along Barberry Street between Eureka Road and Brest Street. The anticipated start date is March 16, 2026. The project should be substantially completed, including all underground construction, by January 7, 2027, with final completion by July 2, 2027.
