The Bannockburn Water Main Replacement Project Phase 1 generally involves the installation of new water mains and services within the rights-of-way of Woodmont Avenue, Bannockburn Avenue, and Ben Avon Drive.
The Base Bid project includes the installation of approximately 2,170 linear feet of 6-inch C900 PVC water main, 1,117 linear feet of 8-inch C900 PVC water main, 400 linear feet of 12-inch C900 PVC water main, fittings, gate valves, fire hydrants, other appurtenances, abandonment and/or removal of old 4-inch and 6-inch water mains and project restoration of sod, curbs, pavement, and sidewalk. Additionally, new potable water services and irrigation services are to be relocated and installed on private property to connect the residential customers to the new water mains located in the front of the lots in the public rights-of-way.

After checking and verifying all field measurements, the Contractor will submit to the Engineer for approval, in accordance with the accepted schedule of Shop Drawing submissions, five copies (or at the Engineer's option, one reproducible copy) of all Shop Drawings, which shall have been checked by and stamped with the approval of the Contractor and identified as the Engineer may require. The data shown on the Shop Drawings will be complete with respect to dimensions, design criteria, materials of construction and the like to enable the Engineer to review the information as required.

Qualifications:

Bidders must be properly licensed to perform work in the State of Florida and demonstrate experience with projects of similar size and scope.

To ensure all prospective bidders have adequate information and a clear understanding of the City’s needs, a virtual Information Conference will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 10:00 AM EST.
